Introduction Endogenous Endophthalmitis is a rare ocular infection but with poor visual prognosis for most patients. Its frequent etiology Klebsiella spp., associated hepatic abscesses and less frequently perirenal abscesses. Case presentation We present 61-year-old woman history of poorly controlled diabetes mellitus 2 that consulted several times acute pyelonephritis torpid evolution, endogenous endophthalmitis in her right eye required evisceration. Conclusion Adequate management can avoid local or distant complications, such as endophthalmitis, an requires high clinical suspicion timely better outcomes lower morbimortality.
